Exhibitor Registration for InnoVEX 2020 starts now

Registration is now open for startups wishing to exhibit in InnoVEX at COMPUTEX 2020 that takes place from June 3 to 5 at TWTC Hall 1 in Taipei, Taiwan.

InnoVEX has become one of the most important global startup platforms since 2016. InnoVEX 2019 hosted a record number of 467 startups from 25 countries, and 12 National Pavilions were set up. Audi, Business France, Business Sweden, Cyberport, JAFCO, NTIO, KPMG, PAIH, PwC and Qualcomm were the key exhibitors among others.

TAITRA, the organizer of InnoVEX and COMPUTEX, anticipates to invite more than 500 startup exhibitors in 2020 and looks forward to boosting the innovation ecosystem with more big companies which are dedicated to inventive ideas and disruptive startups.

Large companies are booming the startup scene

Audi, an exhibitor of InnoVEX 2019, has hosted the Audi Innovation Award (AIA) for two consecutive years. With the purpose of seeking innovative solutions that impact and shape the future of smart mobility, the AIA provided the selected startups with cash prices, opportunity exhibiting in InnoVEX, and chances to collaborate with Audi AG in Germany to put their solutions into practices. The winner of Audi HQ Prize was HorusEye Tech, a Taiwan-based startup which develops the smart glasses through the holographic optical systems in multi-angles. HorusEye's holographic heads up displays on the windshields allow drivers to maintain the amount of time looking at the road, thus reducing the chance of accident caused by distraction.

Merck, another giant company from Germany, announced to collaborate with YongLin Health Foundation to establish an incubator program — the H. Spectrum & Merck Innovation Lab this June. Four teams were selected for this year’s program include Helios Bioelectronics Inc., the developer of the field-effect transistors, Instant NanoBiosensors Co., Ltd, the specialist of the biosensor platform development, Molsentech, the dedicator to facilitate the non-invasive and real-time detection of minimum pathogens for patients, and VSense, the disruptor of optical-based biosensors. Two out of the four teams will have the opportunity to participate in the accelerator training program at Merck HQ in Dusseldorf, Germany. Audi and H. Spectrum & Merck Innovation Lab will partner up with InnoVEX for the first time in the Germany Edition of InnoVEX Pier 5 event on September 30. Program organizers and participants will share their experiences and reveal the feedbacks of their programs.

InnoVEX Pier 5 X Germany will take place on Sep 30 at Wework

To celebrate InnoVEX’s 5th edition, TAITRA is organizing a series of the InnoVEX Pier 5 events, starting from September 2019. TAITRA will invite the ecosystem partners to explore 5 top global markets in the world, including Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea and Eastern Europe.

InnoVEX Pier 5 kicks off its first event on September 30 aiming at Germany markets. TAITRA will host the InnoVEX Pier 5 Germany Edition at the upcoming WeWork 97 Songren Lu. The top German corporations, including Audi and Merck Innovation Lab, will have access to insightful discussions on cross national collaborations. The German Trade Office Taipei and TAITRA will also join the event to share the experiences as trade promoters in bilateral markets. Further, the alumni of InnoVEX who’ve participated in IFA NEXT 2019 will give their observations on IFA 2019.
